The 2024 La Porte FC Soccer Coach Scholarship for U.S. Soccer Federation D License
La Porte FC is excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for aspiring soccer coaches. We are offering two scholarships, each worth $500, to support individuals in obtaining the U.S. Soccer Federation D License. This initiative is aimed at fostering coaching excellence within our community and nurturing talented individuals who are passionate about soccer.

The La Porte FC Soccer Coach Scholarship program is proudly supported by a grant from the Healthcare Foundation of La Porte. This project is made possible thanks in part to the generous support from the Healthcare Foundation of La Porte.
Scholarship Details:
- Amount: $500 per scholarship + the cost of prerequisite courses.
- Purpose: To assist with the costs associated with acquiring the U.S. Soccer Federation D License
Requirements:
- Applicants must be dedicated individuals with a genuine interest in coaching youth soccer.
- Applicants must meet all U.S. Soccer Federation eligibility requirements [a]and prerequisites for a D License[b].

- LaPorte FC will also pay for the required in-person and online prerequisite grassroot courses.
- Age 18+ years old
- Successful recipients will be required to apply for the U.S. Soccer D License course and complete it successfully[c].
- Upon completion, recipients will be obligated to fulfill a two-year coaching contract within La Porte FC's youth soccer programs.
- The coaching position will be a part-time paid role, providing a unique opportunity for individuals to apply their newly acquired skills and contribute to the development of young soccer enthusiasts.
How to Apply:
1. Interested candidates should submit their applications by August 31, 2024.
2. Applications must include a brief personal statement outlining the applicant's passion for coaching and their vision for contributing to youth soccer development.
3. Successful candidates will be notified by September 30, 2024.
